44th Fatacil in Lagoa - 22-31 August 2025

The annual Fatacil event takes place in August at the exhibition site on the N125, near the centre of Lagoa. If visiting Casa Jovic during these dates, Fatacil is definitely worth a visit.
It's a trade fair with handicrafts, displays of horsecraft, farm animals, plus great entertainment and street food. www.fatacil.pt
It's a great place to learn about, and mix with, Portuguese people away from the tourism sites. The entertainment is brilliant, too. They even had Boney M playing a few years back. The event draws a big crowd, so consider a taxi to get there and back, as parking can be a challenge.
