SPY THE PERFECT SUNSET LOCATION

It always amazes me how the same view can alter in a matter of minutes. Never is this truer than when watching the sunset over The Algarve. And there are few better places to enjoy the experience than on the cliff edge near Spy Manor, or Casa Skyfall as its address on Google suggests.

Mind you, I wouldn't follow Google Maps to find it as it's shown in completely the wrong place (probably on purpose). Oop's, I probably just let out a secret :)

The view can be found 30 minutes easy walk from Casa Jovic, towards Caneiros and Ferragudo. Look for the lane to the left of Quinta Cali, itself a beautiful villa. Head down the lane until there isn't one and walk the rest of the way in the direction of Torre da Lapa. (See the map)
Both Praia da Afurada and Praia do Mato are only accessible from the water and please do not get too close to the edge. As you can see, there was a collapse in 2020.
Spy Manor can be seen from the cliff above Praia da Afurado. It's an impressive location which Aston Martin used for its DBX test drive event. But for me, the real picture is that sunset.
